Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977) (4/4)

Close Encounters of the Third Kind

A close encounter of the first kind is a sighting of something from outer space. A close encounter of the second kind is the discovery of physical evidence of otherworldly creatures. A close encounter of the third kind is actual physical contact with these beings. Various ordinary people around the world have first encounters and are drawn to travel to what appears to be an impending third encounter at Devil's Tower, Wyoming. Beautiful special effects, very peaceful vision of extraterrestrials. The legendary director Francois Truffaut plays a scientist. Many consider this to be the best sci-fi movie of the seventies.
